Platform

iOS

Available on the App Store.

Core idea

Shared progress

Points turn repeated chores into something a household can finish together.

Why I made it

Most chore lists record work but do little to help people stay motivated or feel that the load is fair. I built ChoreUs around shared progress, so completing a task contributes to something both people can see.

What I built

  1. 01

Designed a quick flow for assigning, completing, and checking shared chores.

  2. 02

Added points and progress cues to make repeated household work feel more satisfying.

  3. 03

Built and released the iOS app with React Native and Expo.

The key decision

The app needed enough playfulness to feel inviting without making real household responsibilities feel childish. I kept the rewards simple and the practical task flow in front.

Under the hood

React Native and Expo support the task, assignment, completion, and points flow across the mobile app.

Outcome

ChoreUs is available on the App Store and turns a basic household list into a clearer shared routine.
