Why I made it

The evidence behind a political crackdown is often scattered across statements, court records, and news updates. I wanted readers to see the sequence in one place and inspect the material behind the argument.

What I built

    Collected the relevant cases, dates, people, and institutions into a structured record.

  2. 02

    Used interactive views to preserve chronology while letting readers move through the evidence.

  3. 03

    Wrote the narrative around documented events rather than asking a chart to carry the story alone.

The key decision

The subject required clarity without spectacle. I had to make a large evidence trail readable while keeping the language and visual treatment proportionate to the material.

Under the hood

A custom D3 and JavaScript interface connects the structured evidence to the reader-facing timeline and narrative.

Outcome

The project gives readers a single, inspectable record of a politically sensitive sequence that would otherwise remain fragmented.
